About Monica
Does it feel like you've spent years becoming who everyone else needed you to be?
For much of my life, I was focused on doing what was expected of me. Growing up, I moved between countries and cultures, constantly learning how to adapt, fit in, and care for the people around me. Later, I built a successful career in Human Resources, raised a family, and spent decades supporting others. From the outside, I looked confident. Inside, there was always a voice telling me I needed to do more, be more, and that everyone else had it figured out.
Everything shifted when I finally slowed down long enough to ask myself a simple question: What do I want? That journey helped me better understand myself. I learned to quiet the self-doubt, embrace my imperfect self, and build the confidence and resilience I had been searching for all along. It didn't happen overnight. It happened one small step at a time.
Today, that's the same space I create for my clients. I won't tell you what to do or hand you someone else's roadmap. I'll meet you where you are, listen without judgment, and partner with you as you build greater self-awareness and discover your own path forward. Because I believe the answers you're looking for are already within you. Sometimes you just need someone to help you see them.
I named my practice Emmpowering Connections because I believe meaningful change begins with the relationship we have with ourselves. From there, we're able to build stronger connections with the people around us, our communities, and the life we want to create.
